The Huntington Symphony Orchestra is a “child” of the first orchestra organized in West Virginia in the late 1930s as part of the Works Progress Administration (WPA).  This orchestra grew and thrived well into the mid-1950s playing concerts of interest to the community and hosting great artists.

The Ro-Na Theater opened its doors to the public in 1949. Once upon a time, the Ro-Na Theater was the place to be in downtown Ironton and it was considered one of the finest facilities of its kind in all of Ohio.
